Positioned to lead develop marketing measurement, ad-hoc and regular reports, and dashboards, along with insights to support understanding of marketing effectiveness in the effort to create demand, revenue and profitability. This position requires both a technical and business focus and expertise. Requirements: 1. Provide daily, hands-on interaction with the marketing organization (segment marketing, operations, services, digital marketing) on business rules, content availability, key analytic approaches, and best practices for leveraging the enterprise data, and marketing activities to generate insights about general marketing effectiveness with a specific focus on web/digital analytics – visitor behavior, navigation, return, etc.
2. Responsible for the end to end tracking, reporting and interpretation of marketing campaigns through to revenue 3. Responsible for developing reports and dashboards that aggregate data from multiple sources or leveraging the enterprise analytic environment to summarize results relative to KPIs, industry standards and trends and provide business recommendations with a specific focus on digital/web experience – what campaigns are driving response, what content is most relevant, who is converting and why
4. Provide data mining and ad-hoc analysis into customer and prospect segment behavior and performance. 5. Provide direction and requirements for analytic environment enhancements 6. Key deliverables/outputs will include design and the population of a dashboard that can be shared with the executive team. 7. Candidate will work closely with internal customers comprised of marketing teams, segment leaders, digital marketing teams and, creative team as well as external agencies/consultants. 8. Candidate will have direct line reporting into Marketing Analytics leader and dotted line reporting relationship with Digital Services team
9. Candidate will prepare analyses and recommendations and have frequent engagement and presentations to senior leadership Qualifications 1. BS/BA or equivalent business experience required. 2. 7+ years business experience marketing/analyst role 3. Experience in marketing and business intelligence/direct/database marketing. Also has a strong understanding in business-business best in class marketing penetration & procedure methods and communication mediums. 4. Experience in procedures and marketing mix elements that drive increase in demand.
5. Deep understanding of digital marketing, web marketing, SEO, SEM, PPC and social media marketing tactics and analytics
6. Ability to apply marketing strategies and analytic skills. 7. Ability to use sales management concepts (sell-in process, benefits/features products, channels, training). 8. Strong project management skills and the ability to understand the complexities and interdependencies of information/events in order to develop effective solutions and ideas. 9. Strong communication skills. Ability to convey information and ideas in clear, meaningful, and timely manner, providing information to ensure understanding; solicits input from audience during communication. Able to communicate with senior leadership and line managers
10. Develops and uses collaboration for purpose of accomplishing work objectives; develops relationships with other individuals by listening, sharing ideas, and appreciating other's efforts and point of views. 11. Experience with working with and pulling data from marketing automation software (Oracle BI suite, Teradata, Webtrends, Google Analytics) and a number of other analytic and database application.
12. Knowledgeable about current technology and reporting options and leading edge options, stays abreast of latest developments
